Hi, I’m Peter

your wellness coach

I’ve embarked on my own healing journey, exploring various methods such as physiotherapy, fasting, dietary changes, exercise programs, meditation, quitting smoking, and reducing my workload. This experience has taught me that true healing comes from within, and everyone must find their own path to recovery.

My aim is to share this knowledge, along with practical tools and a new mindset, with my clients. I derive immense satisfaction from using my skills and experience to support those in need and to make a positive impact. I view this work as a chance to give back to the community.

You like to know more about my background?

I grew up in a bilingual and bicultural environment, navigating both Dutch and Swiss influences. Like many teenagers, my focus was on sports and social pursuits, but a life-changing mountaineering accident shifted my priorities. During the six months I spent recovering on crutches, I developed a deep interest in reading and learning.

Upon graduating from college, I began my professional journey as a junior cost accountant at a county dairy plant. It was there that I discovered my passion for analyzing numbers, which encouraged me to pursue further business studies. After a gap year in the U.S. where my life partner and I combined travel, work, and study, I returned home and successfully financed my university education in Zurich by running my own accounting business.

After graduation, I found myself immersed in the whirlwind of designing and helping build one of Europe’s largest film and TV studios. That was a wild chapter of my life—16 cups of espresso a day, two packs of cigarettes, and enough stress to land me with peptic ulcers. By the age of 28, my body was screaming for change, and I was more than ready to leave that hectic world behind.

In 1988, my partner and I moved to New Zealand and started a small publishing and advertising agency, working with local businesses in the Bay of Islands. That’s when we stumbled into the restaurant business, first as a design project, then as owners. Ten years of ups, downs, late nights, and learning curves followed, before we finally sold the business. I thought I was ready to retire again.

But just a week later, I was approached to volunteer with the local ambulance service. What began as a bit of volunteering soon grew into a three-year journey to become a certified paramedic. I spent the next 14 years working as a paramedic, managing the station, and mentoring countless volunteers. It was one of the most fulfilling roles of my life.

During my time with St John ambulance I received an award from the Minister of Health – read about it here.

A back injury eventually slowed me down, kicking off many years of pain management and reduced mobility. After trying everything imaginable, I finally found relief through somatic education, which traced my pain back to that long-ago knee injury. Within days of starting the program, I felt better, and within weeks, I had regained my life.

Now, I live simply and am passionate about helping others find their path to better health, financial stability, and a fulfilling lifestyle. There’s nothing more rewarding than helping others take control of their destiny.

Now, I’d like to help you with your challenge and make a positive impact on your life.
